for an almost 2 year old....
i know a lot of people use fitted w/a wool cover for nighttime.... and i'm curious about how this works..... are these 'special' nighttime fitteds? or just regular ol fitteds?
any brand in particular that works best?
we don't have any issues w/our current nighttime diaper but i'm just curious... (currently use a sweetdollbaby pocket w/2 MF's and a trifolded hemp w/a wool cover).
is it the wool cover that really makes it nighttime effective? (i only use upcycled wool sweaters covers)
Re: talk to me about fitteds for overnight
Depending on the absorbency of the diaper and the amount your child wets during the night you have a lot of fitted options, there are some "regular" fitteds that work well over night and there are also special overnight absorbency fitteds. We really like the Sbish snapless with an additional soaker laid in.
I really think the wool is the key to having no overnight leakage. We have had great luck with our Sbish longies, and love our WCW soakers. I don't personally have any upcycled woolies, but I would guess it would have to be pretty thick to make it through the night successfully.
I will say, I like fitteds overnight because of the potential for a little air flow. The PUL in a pocket just seems like it would get so stale underneath after 12 hours!
