Hi there - Looking for healthy suggestions for snacks for a toddler.
My one year old hates Cheerios but loves Earth's Best crackers, although I don't want to give her too many of those since there's no real nutritional value. I'd love alternatives!! thanks!
Re: Snack suggestions for toddler
I make big batches of carrot/zucchini muffins and pumpkin pancakes and freeze them. They make great snacks or can step in as a meal when DS is being a picky eater - goes well with cottage cheese or fruit or string cheese.
We've been big on smoothies lately for an afternoon snack. He'll always eat fruit - watermelon, grapes, berries, raisins. And he'll always eat crackers and cheerios.
Rice cakes are a hit with him. I have a yummy sweet potato muffin recipe as well as crackers and cinnamon rolls that are allergen free for him!
Veggie chips I found he can have but those don't have any nutrition.
I did find a cheese it and yummy granola bar recipe but I am into the making my own food since I know what's in it..
GL!
homemade graham crackers, blueberries, puffs (my son loved the organic apple ones), cheese, muffins (homemade, extra healthy)
