I just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself. My name is Samm and I have a 4 month old named Atticus. I moved to Lafayette in November. I am currently living with my mom here in Lafayette but am still happily married to my husband Andrew. Andrew is finishing his Phd in Physics in Birmingham. I am preparing to have neurosurgery and needed help from my mom with my son and myself, so we are having to live apart for a while.
We don't really know anyone here so I guess I was just looking to get to know some other moms!

Hi Samm! Welcome to the board! Wow, that sounds tough - prepping for surgery, being away from your husband, and having a little guy at the same time. I wish you the best of luck with your surgery. Is it scheduled soon?
My husband is from Lafayette and we lived in Indy for 5 or 6 years. We just moved to Denver this winter and are expecting our first.
I think he would tell you to make sure and eat Pizza King while you're staying with your mom. And Arni's too. But, we're all about the food.
