were you told you can't eat tuna? i want tuna so bad! but i'm not sure if i can eat it. help!

    I was told i could eat everything i wanted the only thing that would come of it was possible gassiness.

    I havent been told that but my BFF's OB told her no tuna while pregnant. Mine said I could have it in limited amounts while PG. So it's not completely strange, however I am not sure how it relates to BF-ing though.

    Personally i Haven't avoided anything except hard liquor while BF-ing.

    It's the mercury...the same with all fish I think, however the larger ones have more of it and it would concentrate in the baby.  I think every once in a while is okay, but not daily.
