Did anyone see this? On the main page of the bump, there's an article about the top baby names of 2010. Here they are:

Boys:

1) Jacob

2) Ethan

3) Michael

4) Jayden

5) William

6) Alexander

7) Noah

8) Daniel

9) Aiden

10) Anthony

Girls:

1) Isabella

2) Sophia

3) Emma

4) Olivia

5) Ava

6) Emily

7) Abigail

8) Madison

9) Chloe

10) Mia

Just wondering how many of you have a LO with one of these names? Or know someone who does?

On a side note, my name is Emily and I am surprised to see it on the list. When I was born in 1984 it wasn't super popular, but it ended up being #1 for like 10 years (I think from the early 90's to early 2000's)... I can't believe it's still so high up there!

  • Jackson made #20. I like that its not too popular.......but all of the top 10 names are beautiful :)
  • Im pretty sure Morrighan wont be making any of the lists but i know my name Mehgan (of course there are a LOAD of variations) was #1 popular name the year after i was born. lol going to high school was fun i was in chours and i think there were 5 of us... Mehgan, Meagan, Megan, Meghan, Meghann.... our teacher nearly went insane.. :p

  • My neices are Sophia and Olivia, and I know about 100 Isabellas!  I don't think HarLynn will ever make the list even the top 100 baby names! LOL...

  • i have a kaylee, delaney, emily and sadie.  we have a VERY common last name.  unfortunately, there is a girl one grade higher than my emily with the same first and last name!!!  thats why we went with something fairly original with sadie!  i loved sophie, but soooo popular right now!

  • addison was #11.  i feel some sort of way about this because i just didn't really want a popular name but we were team green waaaaay back in the day when i was pregnant (lol, but it does seem like forever ago) and addison was a last minute ringer that i threw in and we both actually liked.  i'm ok with it because her last name isn't common at all.  plus with all the unique names out there i don't think "popular" names are as popular as they were when i was younger. i don't think the Addisons will outnumber the amount of Staceys and Laurens that i grew up with.

  • We knew our little Emilie would make the list. My name is Jenna, and I don't even know how far down the list it is, if it even made it!
