I usually use CJ butter as a preventive,DS but seems to have a decently bad rash-not yeast though, its red patchy/slightly risen I don;t remember the yeast he had several months ago look like that.
So now that he has a rash what should I put on it? I will use a barrier if needed

for bubbly/blistery looking diaper rash the only thing that works for me is alternating balmex and desitin max at each diaper change. and i cover the area w/a fleece liner to protect the diaper from the creams.
i also really like lansinoh diaper cream too but it doesn't work as well on severe rashes.
I really like Northern Essence's Diaper Rash Salve in the sensitive skin version. Also the Motherlove Diaper cream.
What also helps is giving the bum some air time. I try to do it for 10 minutes every diaper change if there is a rash or more. And fitteds without a cover too.
