JBF sale

Has anyone ever gone to the Just Between Friends sales? Are they worth it? If so, is it best to go opening day? Or can you get good deals other days too?

Re: JBF sale

  • If you are looking for Boy stuff then it's really hit & miss & not worth paying money to get in. If you are looking for Girl stuff I could see it being worth it as they always have so much

  • I went to the Eden Prairie one tonight.  It sucked.  Super overpriced and not very much stuff.

  • I don't have the patience for them. Before I had my kiddo I went to a couple and bought some sleepers, but that was about it.
  • I went to the EP one last night and I found a couple things, but not worth my time waiting in line to get in, then waiting in line to check out.  I got there 15 minutes after it opened and all the good items were already taken.  Many items were pretty high priced.

  • I've gone to several and some are better than others. I've always had a free admission coupon (I think you can print them from the JBF website.) And I've also gone on "Half Price Day" and found some really good deals.

  • I went to the Woodbury one this morning and it wasn't great. I bought two clothing items and two books. Most things looked WELL used.

  • yeah, went to the EP one this morning and if you have a girl its worth the trip. Nothing for boys at all. Only left there with one item. It was really dead this year and everything was way overpriced this year. Hoping that the Edina/Hopkins one will be better.

The best one I have ever been to was Maple Grove and I have been to a lot. I always go back for 1/2 price day.

  • Is half priced day on Saturday or Sunday? Is it free to get in that day?  I may go check it out since I am looking for girl and boy items. And gender neutral since we don't know the gender of baby.

Went to the the EP one tonight - there wasn't much boy stuff this time - lots of girl clothes though. And I agree lots was over priced but I found a couple decent things but not as much as in the past.

  • I went to the Half Price day today at EP....I actually found a few clothes for DS along with some Thomas books.

DD closet is full so I didn't even look at the girls clothes but they did have a lot.

It is open until 3pm today

  • I found a ton of boy clothing at both the Maple Grove and the Woodbury sales.

The Maple Grove sale (went in the first day open to the public with a free coupon around 11am) was WAAAAAY better than the first-time-mom-presale at the Woodbury sale.

Does anyone know if the Edina sale is usually good or bad? I have another first-time-mom-presale ticket for that one.
