Is this a new fad and I am just hearing about it. IMO they are not cute unless you are in middle school....maybe high school. My SIL just posted a pic of herself with them....she is 30! This may be a UO?!
My radio show was actually talking about these yesterday. They are a really big trend. And they are made with the same feathers that fly fisherman use so that type of feather is on like a year backorder at this point for fisherman because of a stupid fashion trend.

I agree with PP. My little sister is 13 and she got some last week. My son is 6 and some of the girls in his class have them. I think they are ok on them.
My SIL who is 34 yrs old and has been married for 13 yrs and has 4 kids got it done 2 weeks ago. Looks like she is going thru a midlife crisis. I thought she was crazy, but then again most of the things she does are crazy to me.

I'm all for funky hairstyles but why would anyone go to a salon to get this done? It seems like it'd be so much easier and cheaper to just attach a feather to a hairclip.

In my town it's $30! But, there's a place about 10 miles from us that does it for $10. I think we'll be going there.

Haha, you're much nicer than my mom. She would have busted out the hot glue gun in a heartbeat and made a bunch of bootleg extensions.

The mental picture I have is amazing..lol. Maybe I should try this instead.
I had never heard of these before but they totes remind me of the hair thread wraps which were, like, SO cool in my middle school days. I would always get them at the fair.

I am not a fan!
Feather Extenstions? Meh?
For some reason, I'm thinking of feather eyelash extensions, and the mental image is cracking me the heck out!

My SIL did not get the reality check I guess.

See cute on little kids not so cute on 30 year olds!

Shu umera has them
See....
Not so cute
My 16 year old niece has one.
She acknowledges that it's a silly trend, but she did it anyway. I'm pretty sure I'd fiddle with it way too much if I had one.

My 26 y/o sister has the glitter ones too. When she showed them to me I was like
.
It just seems tacky to me.
The Nest/Bump sucks and won't let me change my location. I'm in Arkansas, not Florida.

A bunch of girls at my work have them. I have an extreme fear of birds, so I definitely am not a fan.
However, I think one or two can be cute. Some girls go overboard though.
