Big food craving disappointment....

So....for the last few days I have really been craving potato cheese soup. It just sounds sooo good!! Both Corner Bakery and Panera have it, but only on certain days. Well, today I was super excited because I was sure that Panera had it today, so I went to get some for lunch....but it was the wrong day. They had it yesterday....and tomorrow. BOOOO!! Corner Bakery has it today, but there isn't one close to work. I was seriously so disappointed! I ended up getting a tomato/mozzerella/pesto panini with broccoli cheese soup....but it just wasn't the same. **sad face** Think I need to go to Corner Bakery for dinner tonight! :)

I kinda had to laugh at myself for being so disappointed about the stupid soup--I literally stomped my foot like a little kid when I saw today's menu, haha. So silly!

    Aw.  You could always make some at home for dinner.  Potato cheese soups are easy to make.  DH loves them.

    Do you have a good recipe you'd like to share? I haven't yet found one that I like. I actually really want to find a good potato cheese recipe, and add jalapenos, to try to replicate a soup we had on our last cruise--it was amazing!!

    I had the same reaction the other night when the bar I was at with some friends was out of lemons for my lemon aid. I almost cried!
