reason 103 why I hate Walmart

Yesterday we went to Walmart to get DS a bike for his birthday this weekend. It was one of the only places we found a 14inch bike we don't usually got to Walmart.

The bike we were goning to get was out of stock so they were calling around to other stores to see if they had it. As we were walking around the store I saw 3 guys about 20 or so and 1 kid about 5-6. The kid was in the front of the cart so he was young enought to fit there. Well we walk by and I see one of the guys getting a little bit of CHEW out of a can and gives it to the kid. We passed them and I kind of glared and looked a the guys hand that gave the kid the chew and sure enough it was a chew can. Then I told DH hey did you just see that. He didn't so we walked by again and see one of the other guys showing the kid how to spit in a cup.

I don't think it is my place to confront them on it but really who gives a kid Tabacco.

Ick!

AWFUL! I really hope one of those guys is not the parent of that child... and even worse, what kind of parent lets crappy people like that take CARE of their kid. Ugh, how sad. That kid probably puked his guts out when he got home. Poor thing.

Which Walmart did you go to? The new Arlington one is super nice, not busy and clean!!! We got M's 14" bike there last week, they had acouple of them instock.

That is the one we went to. The service was better than I had expected when the bike we wanted was gone they called around to all the different stores to see who might have it. But seeing that one incident made me remember why we don't go then often.
