End of year teacher gift?

Isabelle is finishing up her preschool year and next year will be off to kindergarten.  I really want to get her teacher something but I'm at a loss as to what I should get.  I did order a bag from 31purses and I thought about filling it but I don't know what to fill it with.  I thought candle, but what else?  Would you do maybe a mug with different types of tea or coffee?  I'm typically really good at this but I'm at a loss, I guess I have too many things on my mind these days!

    Gift cards for Starbucks, dining, target for teaching supplies etc... and chocolates ;)

    As a teacher, I second the whole gift card idea.

    I just asked my friend the same question bc she is a 1st grade teacher. She said hand down, the best gift is a gift card for shopping or restaurant and a nice thank you note. She said she has more candles than she needs and since she is picky about candle scents, she ends up throwing some away. She would never throw away a gift card!

    We made handmade bookmarks with Jack's picture of it, a loaf of banana bread and this cute little summer serving dish. I wanted to do a GC, but never got around to it.

    She seemed happy!

    I agree with giftcards, they are the best by far! :)  If it's a big bag you need to fill more, I'd put in some sweets, like chocolate or cookies or muffins.   I also like the mug (I'd do a travel mug) and coffee and candle idea.  If she doesn't like them she could give them away.  Maybe some nice antibacterial stuff from bath and body too.  I used to go through lots of that.  :)
