Is it sad that I finally got my LO's Birth Certificate yesterday.......??? I just didn't feel that it was all that important compared to taking care of my boy. While we were waiting for it a mom walked in with her 4 week old, lol, made me feel kinda lazy.....

    i will assume we are talking about the state certified birth cert......i don't have one for any of my kids and will only probably go get it or order it off line, when they start school unless i need it before then!

    but good for you all for being on top of it!

    we don't "have" to go get it, but I think it's easier and faster, cuz you get the copy that day....

    If it helps you feel better Darlene is 4 years old and I still have not gotten hers.  I have yet to need it.  I am going to order hers and Cooper's this summer before she goes in to preschool.  Im not sure if I need it for that but I need it for grade school.

    dont worry we still didnt get ours for LO yet either.

    I didnt realize we have to pay now - Everyone I know swears it was free but I guess our state is that poor that they have to charge us now.

    I ordered G's online. We needed it to get him on a plane at 3 months. You know, so we could prove he's under 2. ;-)
