Mom gives birth to 14 pound baby!!!

This story was on my local news.. I thought I would share. I wonder if mom had GD or poor eating habits.. I was just shocked. So much for wearing newborn clothing and diapers :)

    Wow. That's crazy. The biggest baby I've heard of was a good family friend of mine had a 12lb 12oz son. She's tall, maybe 5ft 10, her husband is over 6ft and then son (now 18) is 6ft 2. I thought that was big!

    Jeez! DH was over 11lbs, and I was 8lbs, so I'm a little nervous that our baby will be big, but OMG. shudder!! 

    PS- I was born in that county, but not that hospital, kind of cool.

    Wow, crazy.

    One of the women in my water aerobics class was 12lb4oz, her brother was 12lb10oz and her other brother was 12lb1oz. All natural.

    That's scary! I saw him on the news this morning and he was chunky : )

    Size of 2 watermelons then? I can't imagine that she gave birth naturally...ouch.

    don't worry, I have a friend who is 5'10-5'11" and her husband is about 6'5"...and while their first DD was over 9lbs, their 2nd was only 6.5lbs or so :)

    That's crazy!!!  My second was 10lbs, and I'm doing everything in my power not to have one that big again.  It sounds kinda small when compared to 14lbs though.

    Uggh that scares the crap out of me. Especially since my dd was 8.12lb and my ds was 9.2lb and I am only 5'4". Yes, they both were vaginally evicted with the loving assistance of epidural Wink
