My sister ended up calling me back and apologizing. We decided that we would see how Quinn was yesterday evening and then decide who would go. I then talked to my mom and she is doing well. When I told her Quinn was sick she said "oh well then you definitely shouldn't come". She wanted to make sure that he got better. His fever ended up going up and he barely napped so my sister is on her way to our mom's today.
She can only stay till Saturday as she has something she needs to be at Saturday night. If my mom still needs help on Saturday than I will go up at that point and stay till Sunday.
My sister and I also realized that we need to talk to each other and not have our mom be the go between. She seems to only hear what she wants and then relays that information to us so we end up ticked at each other.

Glad it worked out. My mother does the same thing with my siblings and I. We actually wound up having a huge fight this past fall during which no one was speaking to anyone else. When we siblings finally talked about it, we realized that it had all been brought about by Mom hearing what she wants and twisting words so she gets her way. It sucks.
Hope Quinn feels better soon!
