  • World of. I play most nights and just have slightly different priorities from some mommies on board and it makes me feel sad and a little left out Sad and would feel so much better if someone else was whining about stupid pvp for childrens week or whathaveyou with me. DH and my boss dont quite get the whole thing about balancing gaming and a baby as much.

  • My guess would be no because they spend all their spare time playing : )

  • DH got me Fable III for Mother's Day and I have been a little MIA on TB because of playing it. It's another role-playing game.

Ah jeez. My nerd is showing.

  • Ahem.

I was an officer in a top 200 U.S. raiding guild before the kiddo. Got to 85 after Cata came out and walked away. I know the stupid PVP (holy priest main = PVP squish) of which you speak and can commiserate, but I can't imagine ever wasting my time like that again.

  • I play as well. Embarrassed

I haven't play hardly any since M was born but I do play sometimes. My account is down right now so I am not even tempted to play. I am waiting of some others in our guild to get up to 70 with me so we can run randoms together.

I also have an 80, but I haven't played on her since the expansion came out. I just wanted to get to 80 and play a bit before it came out to say I had a high level character.

  • My ex and I would get on our laptops in different rooms and play each other at Warcraft while we drank. Good times.

  • I only play for an hour or two a night after putting C to bed. DH plays until midnite after C is asleep and from 7 am until whenever C wakes up, and on days off, during all his naps.

I only have one 85 and am doing dailies for rep gear, and other than that working on leveling a couple of toon, which takes forever cause I dont care enough to play more. I have been working on achievements, but have mostly enjoyed getting my worgen up to 70 and now I am kinda bored. At least I slogged through Outlands, the whole Azeroth thing is nice with the changes from Cata, but Outlands is the same boring crap.

Fable is the only reason I didnt kill DH when I found out he got a 360 (he failed to mention it when he bought it several months before and a friend asked why it wasnt out and being played on in front of me).

I have Fable II but it wasnt as good as the original, and havent decided about buying III yet. I wind up having to choose between Fable and WoW, and since WoW beat out FFXII for me too, thats not much of a contest for.

See, I played Fable II first. LOVED IT. Played it every which way multiple times. We then got Fable I and I hated it. Graphics sucked and combat was awkward. It was glitchy to me.

Fable III is very similar to Fable II, but even better. I'm so stoked about it.

If you decide to come back on and want to do a new toon at a laid back guild, let me know. My boss is our gm, and we have some total nerds who play all.the.time. and do the whole raiding and a couple of instances or more every day and getting the best gear and all that, and just as many if not more who just get on to quest and hang out and work on achievements and stuff. We also have other parents on, just not a whole lot.

What realm are you on? I may make a toon on it so I can join. I like the laid back guild. I don't like it when people make the game their life and they get mad if you make a mistake or you don't have the best gear. You got to start somewhere right?

Veknilash. Guild is Heavy Burden on alli side, Horde of HB on horde (although only a couple of people are playing their horde toons right now). We will normally have anywhere from 4 to 20 people on, its been a pretty small guild and many of us know each other irl, also one of the few remaining orig guilds from when WoW first came out, and we are looking to expand so we can raid without pressuring the guildies who aren't into that as much. My main is Kitiaram, DH is Krezlyn, he is the only one who knows of the TB connection. I have been playing Kittyara a bit lately too. Anyone will invite you in guild if you mention you are a friend of Kit and Krez. One of our old roomies plays and his sister is in guild too, my boss is gm, a couple of his irl friends in town are on (and they are both great for instances and organizing stuff). We also have a couple of teenagers in but not a lot.

We have never kicked out a guild member unless we knew they were gone for good and not coming back. Like one of our guildies has cancer and hasnt played in over a year and prolly wont be, so his main is there but the others are gone. Another one passed away about two years ago, so her main is still in but not the others. I have never felt like I have to do something or I am letting the others down.

  • I ended up getting literally addicted to WoW in 2005.  Thanks to Katrina and a lack of electricity for 2 MONTHS, I broke the addiction. I found out that real life was so much more fun.

I kept casually playing. No big deal.  About an hour was as long as I ever played in one day and not every day.  Then I did something stupid. I introduced my boyfriend to the game.  Then he got addicted.  Somehow we made it through the next FIVE YEARS while he was addicted to the game.  After the baby was born, he slowly had less and less time to play.  Two months ago he had to leave his guild because their raiding times didn't work with the baby's bed time and schedule.  He couldn't find another guild and quit playing so much.  It hit him upside the head that he really did have an addiction like I had been telling him.  He quit and our life has been so drastically different.  He is actually available and I have a husband! He appologizes every night for the years we missed.

I know there are people who casually play and it's no big deal.  For some of us, it can become an addiction.
