Long-Term Disability Insurance?

Does anyone have this?  We are modifying some of our insurance policies and we do not have long-term disability insurance... wondering if we should.

In California, apparently, your only option is a 2 or 5-year plan - They do not allow (???) the 10-year or "Until 65" plans.  I am wondering if it's even worth it if we can only get it for a max of 5 years?

We opted to put more in our life insurance plan over long term disability because we have a decent savings account that could get us through for quite a while. I think being a stay at home mom, I would have probably bought this if my husband had a high risk job or high risk hobbies and not a ton of savings.

Yes you can only do 5 years, but you could always renew after then right?
