Kind of freaking out

I had a bad m/c dream last night, so for some strange reason, I thought taking a test this morning would be reassuring. So, I took one and the line is super light. I haven't had a line this light since 14 DPO or something. WTH? I've been googling and I've found a lot of things that say once you reach a certain week, you can get a light test, but I'm still freaked out.

When I use the answer test brand the one (control? far right) line is always very faint. When I use the dollar store test I always get two dark lines. Sometimes it is just the test. I wouldn't worry about it.

Some tests don't have that much dye in them, I wouldn't worry about it.

Which brand did you use?? Some of the test lines never get darker than the control lines. I have heard though that after a certain point the test won't be as dark. Are you still having symptoms?

Yes, I'm still having symptoms and the test line on these tests were darker than the control at 19 dpo, so I know it's not the test.

Don't worry about dreams, and don't test... a test probably wouldn't come out negative until after a miscarriage anyway (it took over a week with my last miscarriage) The darkness of a line means nothing AT ALL. Don't put any weight in it at all.

I am sure everything is fine. It is natural to have scary dreams like that. I have had one or two this pregnancy, and I had an u/s this week and everything was fine.

Can you call your doc and go in for a blood test/ultrasound? You have a right to be nervous, and it would be good to get peace of mind either way. Do you have an u/s coming up soon?

I have one on Monday. I feel silly calling the dr., and telling them I took a test at almost 8 weeks. ugh!

I think your HCG levels off after a while. That may be the reason for the lightness in the line.

I've heard this too. It's probably nothing to be worried about.

Please relax. I also had a horrid m/c dream last night.

The light line is probably because your urine was too dilated. Not to mention, hCG levels drop off after a certain point as you read online.

A line is a line.
