so...the cancer is lower then we thought. i have to start radiation to try and shrink it. surgery and chemo too. i'm guessing i'll have to wean D :-(
i'm still in shock, i thought it would be a simple surgery and done. there's even a possibility of a temporary colostomy bag.

I am so sorry. I cannot even imagine dealing with cancer, much less knowing I had to wean my kid to do it...would you qualify for any donated milk? Because of the extenuating circumstances you just might, even if it was something vs. nothing. I totally get not wanting to bother with it though.

Aw man, joes! Yeah, you're right: chemo is one of those few things that absolutely cannot be combined with nursing. In this case, your LO will need to eat. Don't feel guilty about it. A healthy mom is much, much more important for him.
