Please help! Where to find nice sandals for lo's with wide/high arched feet?
I've been looking all over and I can't find sandals that fit my daughters wide and high arched feet. She's only at a size 5, but poor thing got my sausage feet. I'm trying to find a really nice, durable, supportive pair of sandals for Summer, but I can't find anything that fits. I even tried Stride Rite's XW sandal and it still didn't work.
Any ideas?? I don't really want flip flops for her since she has a pair and there's just not enough support even with a back strap. I'd like a pair that is supportive and has the toe guard to protect against stubbing her toes when she falls.

Hey- my DD's feet arent wide but she has a high instep & it is starting to make things difficult for sure. I got her a pair of Keen sandals but I don't think they'll last the summer b/c they're already fitting perfectly across the top even though she has quite a bit of room at the toes so I feel your pain.

ETA sorry no toe guard there, I didn't see that the first time I read your post. The Keens do have toe guards but like I said, they're kind of tight acrosst he top, although stretchy-like so it is a little better than some others.
My daughter has the same issue and I recently found cute white sandals at Target. They are Circo brand and have 2 white flowers on the front velcro section.

My dd had the same issue and the above sandals are great because you can adjust the top and the ankle strap. I also found that she could fit into the mary jane keds.
