Well, I guess I shouldn't say I don't like them.... but IMO they just don't make much sense. Like the going to bed book- aren't they in a submarine? I could be wrong on that....
And the Blue Hat Green Hat one is cute because of the "oops" part, but it always bothered me that there wasn't one more page showing the guy dressed in clothes all wet from the water.
I dunno, I just think her books aren't that great, maybe because my kids never seemed to think much of them?
No?

The Chronicles of Justin and Tyler
Ellie has "Moo Baa La La La" and "The Going to Bed Book." I agree with you, I'm not a huge fan. When she was younger, she loved them, but she's outgrown them.
I much prefer books that actually make any sense. They don't necessarily have to have a plot at this point, and "wrong" color animals in Eric Carle books don't bother me either. But Ellie has a few books that are just so stupid that I have been known to hide them.

I've never gotten into them either. We have a couple and I tried to get more at the library after seeing a post on here about them, but my kids stood up and ran away after I started reading one.
I need to find that Moo Baa La la one...
HaHaHa! No lie, I just said the EXACT SAME THING (to DH), two days ago, about this book.
seriously! this is one of the books I read her that I am done with... I noticed she says goodnight to things she doesn't even mention in the beginning...
