Pregnant in heels....

OK... that one where the lady gets the naked portrait on a horse???  That painting was terrible.  No way would I have a big reveal of it without seeing it first either.

I felt so bad for that lady who was so so so scared of needles and all.  I'm amazed she was able to get through it.  But I thought it was stupid how she didn't even bother to take a prenatal class and that she just thought it was stupid to even breathe or talk to that doula.

  • I havent seen that episode yet, but I just wanted to say that I love Rosie Pope, and sometimes when I am bored at work I will change my voice to my "Rosie Pope" impersonation voice and talk to clients like that for a while.  =)

  • I watched the first episode of it a couple nights ago...kinda a strange show!  The people on it are nuts!  Is she deaf?  She kinda talks like she has hearing problems?
  • Yeah, that painting was seriously terrible.  Though, it looks like she loved it, so more power to her.  I loved the looks on everyone's faces when they revealed it - they were all like WTF??

I have to say, though, that I really liked seeing the naked horse lady on the show.  I feel like she's the first person they've showed that has truly appreciated becoming a mother.  All the other million dollar mamas have just been so out of touch and "above" it, you know?

I just kept shaking my head at the newscaster.  I understand that people have aversions, or even phobias, but get your head out of the sand, lady.  How can you get SO close to having a kid, knowing that you'll likely have a hard time with certain aspects of it, but not take ANY steps to prepare yourself at all??  Ridiculous.

  • Yeah, the animal lady actually wanted to be a mom.  So many of the others are wanting a baby accessory or something but don't want to mess with their lives...

and yeah, the phobia lady - I don't know why she hadn't at least taken a birthing class, or gone to therapy, or hired a hypnotist!  :)

YES!  That is exactly what the speech impediment sounds like (plus the British accent).

I appreciated the naked horse lady's desire to be a good mom, too!  I did not appreciate the naked horse picture, or her desire to reveal it in front of friends.  :-P

Lynchie- I'd love to hear that impression!

  • Her voice doesn't bug me nearly as much as it seems to bug everyone else.  Yeah it's a little weird, but I don't feel like I'd call it a speech impediment...

That is too funny!  And that's pretty much her speech impediment (with exaggerated tongue action).  They even got LT pretty well.

  • Yeah, I think she's cute, too - I like her.  When you impersonate her, do you tell everyone to get their sh!t together??

You know, I dont' think she could be so bitchy about how unprepared everyone is if she had a NJ accent.
