3. What is your company's stance on jeans? Fridays only and the occasional day before a major holiday. I once interviewed at a law firm that refused to do Jeans Friday. I basically walked out of the interview at that point. It also didn't hurt that the dude I was interviewing with was a total douche.
4. Are you able to wear your work clothes for other occasions? Yes, but I don't want to. Work clothes are for work. If I spill something on my work clothes and it stains, I would be superpissed.
5. If you could wear whatever you wanted to work, would you still wear what you're currently wearing? Yes, because it's comfortable.

1. What is your general work look? At this moment? Pink pajama bottoms, a white tank top and my rockin pink Crocs. However, when I have to leave the house to see people, I either wear jeans and a sweater or if I am dressing up, black or gray slacks and a sweater or blouse. In my former life (The Times), I wore dress slacks and a nice shirt, or a skirt, every day. Sob. I miss wearing heels.
2. Where do you tend to buy your work clothes? Nordstrom, Macy's, Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic ... I mix stuff up.
3. What is your company's stance on jeans? My current job couldn't care less. At The Times, it's all MY boss wore, but I never ONCE did. I couldn't bring myself to wear jeans to work. I only really started wearing them since leaving the paper.
4. Are you able to wear your work clothes for other occasions? My current clothes, yes. My clothes from my former job, not as much. I can wear them if I am covering a dress-up event, but otherwise, they just sit. I don't even want to think about how many thousands of dollars of shoes and clothing are collecting dust in my closet.
5. If you could wear whatever you wanted to work, would you still wear what you're currently wearing? I wish I could dress up more. Sigh. Someday.
1. What is your general work look? Slacks or a skirt, nude fishnets, heels a blouse and a cardigan. Pretty much my staple.
2. Where do you tend to buy your work clothes? LOFT, J.Crew, Ann Taylor, Gap, BR, and Tarjay!
3. What is your company's stance on jeans? Fridays only for corporate employees, but many of our consultants dress far more casual depending on their client.
4. Are you able to wear your work clothes for other occasions? Yes. But I tend to dress up more than maybe the average person. I'm weird, but I'll even get dressed up to go to the mall or to dinner or something.
5. If you could wear whatever you wanted to work, would you still wear what you're currently wearing? No. But I wouldn't NOT wear it either. I really like having options. Jeans are my favorite item of clothing, but I don't want to wear them every day. I actually like dressing up from time to time. What I don't like is not having the option to wear jeans or being forced to dress up EVERY DAY. My two favorite companies I've worked for as far as dress code is concerned are Expedia and Google. It's pretty much anything goes and very casual, but if you come in dressed up, people are all "Wow you look nice!" Not so much in management consulting, the industry in which I work. It's very buttoned up and people expect you to be dressed up. That kinda sucks. Tech companies have the best dress codes.

2. Where do you tend to buy your work clothes? I love Lucky Jeans, tops I usually shop at Express, Macy's, H&M, Target.
3. What is your company's stance on jeans? Perfectly ok for everyday wear assuming you aren't meeting with clients or reps and they don't have holes in them.
4. Are you able to wear your work clothes for other occasions? Yep, all the time.

1. What is your general work look? Dress slacks, tops, sweaters, suit style coats that aren't suits (ya know what I mean?), khaki's, suiting when in court.
2. Where do you tend to buy your work clothes? Ann Taylor, Nordies, Macy's, Loft, and Gap.
3. What is your company's stance on jeans? mainly Fridays but I push the envelope and wear them on other days when no clients are coming in

1. What is your general work look? Husky Sweatshirt/fleece/jacket, jeans and flats OR dressy casual and it can include jeans. Today I have on a pencil skirt, cami, cardi and black heels, but I was in charge of an event today. It really depends on the day and the audience for me. I wear A LOT of purple!
2. Where do you tend to buy your work clothes? Lately I love Target for clothes, but also Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Banana, Old Navy...I go all over
3. What is your company's stance on jeans? Go for it as long as they don't have holes in them
4. Are you able to wear your work clothes for other occasions? Yep, since my clothes can be casual I tend to use the tops especially...all the time. I don't wear much Husky Gear on the weekends, cause I wear it all week.
5. If you could wear whatever you wanted to work, would you still wear what you're currently wearing? Yep. I get to dress how I prefer, not in a way I feel uncomfortable or forced.

2-I like Macy's and Target. I have not shopped much lately except kids clothes.
3-They have casual Fridays in the office in Atlanta, and here in the field, it's discretionary. nicer if I'm seeing customers, and less so if I'm actually working in a store
4- yup. Especially the jammies. ;)5- yup. Although I do feel good when I get to dress up a bit.

3. What is your company's stance on jeans? There is no real policy, just expectations. I can pretty much wear any jeans on Friday's. I wear very nice jeans (dark wash, trouser cut) about once a week).

1. My GOAL is elegant slacks, dressy/casual top, cardigan. My actual uniform is dark jeans, Puma sneakers, graphic tee and cardigan.

3. Jeans are cool. I'm a scientist and most of the people in the lab wear jeans.

5. I actually can wear whatever I want to work. Except for sandals. Funky chemicals and biological samples and exposed feet do not mix.

3. What is your company's stance on jeans? it's better to wear jeans than to come to work naked. No one seems to care, but we tend to dress them up, except Fridays are pretty casual.
