    How can the last bidder say that they have access to DMV records in CA, when it is illegal due to stalker and paparazzi laws? They also have the highest bid.

    Well, totally off topic and unsolicited... but how would you even know it was the car?  For $750 + a nice commission, couldn't someone just find you a junk heap and forge some documentation that it was?
