Belly Wraps...

My son is about 3 1/2 months old now and my belly is just not going back to what it was like it did with my first son. I'm looking into belly wraps and before I spend $56 on Brooke Burke's Taut brand, I was wondering if any of you could recommend your belly wrap. I'm looking for one I can wear all the time under my regular clothes without it being too noticeable!

Suggest away!!! Thanks!

Re: Belly Wraps...

  • I bought a maternity belly wrap after my first pregnancy but it wasn't that comfortable and became too big after the first month pp.  This time I invested in a Spanx body shaper and it is amazing!  I wear it all the time and it is really comfortable.  I really like that the chest area is open so I can wear my regular nursing bras beneath it.  Here is the one I bought:

  • ugh..baby #2 sucks! My tummy is a wreck. I'm so grossed out by my body post baby #2.

I really thought it would bounce back like it did with my first!

I'm going to check into that spanx thing!

  • My first son left me with a wrinkled mess but the 'gut' went down fairly quickly, say 3-4 months. Obviously I'm still a wrinkled mess but I seem to be sticking out a decent bit in my upper abdomen rather than my lower, it's weird! I'm almost convinced they put me back together wrong after the c-section, but that's probably not the case, haha! I just want to 'train' the top of my belly to suck back in again!

I may have to do a spanx thing too..

  • I used a belly wrap from a plastic surgeon.  DH is in medical sales and got me one and they are made for after someone gets their stomach liposuctioned, and it worked GREAT!  It was comfortable, you couldn't see it under clothes and it worked!  I have seen them online.  Or maybe just check with a plastic surgeon in your area- just ask if they sell "garmets".  GL!
