Doctoring Bubbles

Per Hollace's excellent recipe, last night I doctored our cheap bubbles with a teaspoon of detergent and a teaspoon of corn syrup and they made the most amazing bubbles.  I'm guessing it was the corn syrup because DD was a little sticky from catching them afterwards but even she could blow them.  In short, cheap bubbles can be rescued. 

PS  Do not buy the colored bubbles from Crayola.  They stain.  My mom learned this the hard way.
