Trolling the family tree for boy names

I have a folder with info on our family from my maternal grandfather's side tracing it back to the 1400s in England (they came to America in the late 1600s!) so I thought I'd search for names since we're so stumped for boys.

So far I found these gems, nothing helpful but I thought you'd appreciate them:

    Wow, those are interesting ones.  Not even sure how you pronounce some of them.   I think looking in the family tree is a great way to get names though.  that is how we got my dd's name, Emelia Regan

    Wow!  Those are some names!  Obviously they are very representative of the times, but d@mn. 

    Also, very cool that you have a folder of your family's names that far back.

    Ooh those are some great names! I agree with PP - someone in Hollywood is going to turn up with one of those names. Very cool you have access to such an extensive family history.

    DH liked that! His favorite color has always been orange, so much so that about half of his wardrobe is bright orange. It's like his thing he is remembered for. But I told him no way in heck is my son going to be named Orange!

    The weirdest to me is Lament. Why would you name your kid that?

    Those are...interesting!  I love family names!!  We are definitely going with family names.  I'm trying not to think about that just yet though!

    Good idea! Instead of Orange it should be spelled Oarennjye. Of course, the y is silent but I think it looks better with a y, right?
