Came home to find the Pack N' Play and burp cloths I had ordered from Target last week on our front porch. The box was completely ripped. Opened it up and both packs of burp cloths were completely opened and strewn all over the box. And the receipt...it's for the wrong person and the wrong products (racer back bras to be exact). And my receipt, nowhere to be found...
So, I call customer service and tell them what happened and that I'd like a correct invoice. They tell me that they can't do anything but I am welcome to return the product if it is unopened and I have the packing slip. I explained to them again that the reason I was calling was because I got the wrong packing slip and the packages were open when I received them. Well, they will make a note of what happened so that it won't happen again. Otherwise, there's nothing they can do.
In reality, the opened burp cloths look fine. But I thought the customer service was completely inappropriate. I should at least be able to return the opened items...or send me new ones!

I have the emailed invoice so that's fine I'm sure. But what really got me angry was that I can't return the opened items if I wanted to when I'm not the one who opened them.
