Porter finally made it! PsIP

I had my water broke at 11am yesterday, pit started right afterwards. I was dialated to a 2 at about 4pm. I got checked at 2am & was still a 2, the DR got in there and stretched things out as much as he could. At 3:45am I was checked again and at a 4. Right after they checked me, they turned me on my side. I started to feel some really bad pains so they checked my again, I was complete! From 4 to complete in 5 minutes! It was super painful, even with an epi, it had worn off completely. 

I was ready for the final push, then they told me to stop. It is SO HARD not to push when he is ready to pop out! I was screaming for the doctor to hurry up and run. He said I couldn't push because the baby had his cord wrapped around his neck. It was amazing relief when I got his head out. I as reaching down and holding his hand when I did the final push, that was amazing. So total I pushed for 30 minutes they he came out at 4:19am. 

The OB had said according to my level 2 ultrasound I was 40 weeks and when I delivered the placenta it was green and old. Porter had a bowel movement inside so he was surrounded by NICU for about 10 minutes before I got to hold him.

We are doing so amazing! I feel great, it is a completely different ballgame this second time around. My little man and me are bonding, & he is a great nurser (even though my milk hasn't come in yet).

I will tell you about the drama that unfolded & why my mom almost missed the birth.
