Need Nursery Wall Art Suggestions!

Ladies,

I'm so late with this...because I can't find anything I love. I just want some cool prints to put on the walls of our son's room.

I love etsy but haven't found anything yet (let me know if there's an artist/seller you love!), I've looked on eBay a little bit.

If it helps, I like literary themes/classic storybook motifs, some vintage prints...just haven't found a selection that strikes me.

I'm OPEN to suggestions!!

I'm not too big on prints or decals, so I'm stenciling a few butterflies and flowers above babygirl's crib. You could probably pick a favorite storybook, and make your own prints with the pages and some cute frames.

Have you checked amazon? I look for wall decals/stickers/etc in the baby section and sorted by average review. I found one I loved for only $8.

I like etsy too but I was really trying to be frugal.

well... here's what we have hanging in my dd's room:

(probably not appropriate for a boy's room, but i was always fond of this picture as a little girl, so i figure it's fine for dd)

and:

(because the nursery used to be my office and i never took the picture down)

now let's hope some other bumpies have real inspiration for you!

You could also check Hobby Lobby if you have one around. That's where I got several pictures and things for the walls for our nursery. And when it's on sale you can get it for a really good price!

i made my own artwork, but i was going to suggest to search for specific authors or books that you want prints of.

I'm having the same problem. I'm thinking about these on Etsy:

Neither of those is very vintage nor literary, though. I've been wanting something classic and storybook-ish too, but I'm having a hard time finding anything that moves me. I would like to find an old book and grame the pictures myself if I could find one, but I'm not sure what to get...especially for a boy.

Hope we both get some suggstions!
