Kicks hurting, same spot?

...maybe knees, heels, who knows.

I know it's in the vicinity of her legs but I am guessing it's knees.

She's been in the same position now since 24 weeks so I get hardness and pushing out on one side from the back of her body and butt but on the other side it's all knee/foot over and over in the SAME spot. The upper right side. Constantly. This side has been beaten, is sore and even gets sharp twinges now when she isn't kneeing me there. Every once in a while I get a real hard one grazing that rib that makes me jump.

Anyone else have an unfortunate spot taking all the beating that hurts?

Definitely. My sore spot is my right side near my ribs -- I was told that, as of last week, those were her feet kicking me so high up. I suspect she's in the same position because that area takes a beating every day.

Since I have anterior placenta I can't feel any hand movements. Though his feet and knees love my right side. He stretches and leaves it there. You can see it stick out. very weird and quite painful now. One day I expect to look down and see a bruise. He tried the whole "lets stick my foot under mom's ribs thing" and I kept pushing it out of the way. I think he got the hint.

My LO's feet positioned in my right ribs and have been for weeks now. They are sore all the time! I had an ultrasound on Monday and they tech asked me if my ribs were sore since LO's feet are wedged in there so good.

Yep, same spot. I used to be able to poke him and he'd move, but now he's getting stubborn and he just kicks me back. Thanks kid.

Yep! My left hip...that has been the most abused spot for some reason. Then, because of that I will get a knee/heel/foot that sticks WAY out of my stomach right below my boob. That's pretty fun, I think anyway. NOT.

oh yes, I experienced this at around 33 weeks. LO kept kicking out from one certain spot the whole day, stretching the muscles and everything in one spot. The following day I was telling DH LO hasn't moved from the spot and it was very, very sore the following day. For the next 3-4 days after that, I literally was placing my hand over that spot every time I felt LO was kicking at the same spot again. DH was freaking out saying I was limiting/restricting the LO's "space" but it was just too sore from the constant kicking! It went away after a week. Well, the soreness went away when LO seem to have moved.

up in the ribs for me.. its been getting really uncomfortable when i lay down and try to sleep. I too have to keep pushing them down. But then i feel bad when i do because its not like he/she has alot of room in there lol.

for about 3 weeks the baby likes to head butt me on my upper right side of my body...I feel like I have an internal bruise

Plus I would like it if she would decide to turn head down!

LO is sitting on my right side and she keeps kicking me on top of my bump. My ribs are getting sore and the top of my bump hurts.

Yup! Right on my right side right below my ribs. He keeps wiggling back and forth which is causing some real soreness. I keep telling him to pick a spot already! Although yesterday I got him back because he had his little leg or foot sticking out in one spot. I poked him where he was sticking out, and it must have surprised or tickled him because all of the sudden the bump kinda jumped and traveled down to another spot. It was pretty entertaining. I do feel kinda bad for him though because he must be pretty squished down there by this point.

Mine isn't from kicks/legs... it's from her big head! LO is still head up ( Tongue Tied

), and she drills/burrows into/right underneath the right side of my ribcage, and it HURTS all the time now, regardless of whether she's pushing into/under it now. =/ Rawr... And to think I hit a possible/technical 35/35 tomorrow. (If we still have to go through with the c-section date, and she waits that long.) Ugh! No fun!

very much this!!!!! it's a foot to the ribs everytime that almost brings me to my knees - i'm surprised LO hasn't cracked one of my ribs!!!

OOohh yes! This baby feels like it is all smashed in my right side. Last night it hurt so bad I did everything I could think (yoga moves, lying on my left side, etc) to get the LO to move, even a bit would have provided comfort. Feeling much better this morning!
