Eat Clean Diet

I ran across a family oriented Eat Clean Diet cookbook. It was cheap so I bought iit and have liked the one recipe I have made. I have a few questions about this possible new eating plan. How did you like it? Was it easy to follow? Did you actually feel better after following it? TIA!

  • I haven't done a specific "eat clean" diet, but DH and I did a 30 day 'real food' challenge where we cut out sugar, did not eat processed/fast food, etc.  I can honestly say I didn't feel any different .. but on that same note I'm a pretty healthy eater so maybe that's why.  I do like the idea of making more healthy choices and not eating processed foods! :) Good luck!

  • One of my good friends started this diet a couple months ago. She did not need to lose weight to begin with, but just wanted to be healthier and tone up after having 2 kids. She also started working out 4 days a week (hardcore workouts) and after one month she was definitely toned up, and said she had a lot more energy because of the combination of working out and the diet. She ate a lot of sugar before the diet, cookies for lunch, brownies for dinner, etc. and it made a big difference.

  • I started doing it a few months ago and love it.  I definitely feel better, have lost a lot of weight, and have a lot more energy.  Once you get used to it, it's easy to follow.

  • I love clean eating. I didn't do it to lose weight, but more so I could better fuel myself for my long runs. I have more energy and feel a lot better by eating clean. I would call it more of a way of life, rather than a diet. I have heard a lot of girls say they notice their stomache flattens out too.
