Gas is $5.34/gallon

I know we've all ranted about gas prices on here before, but I can't help myself.

In my home town of 1000 people it's currently $1.29/litre ($4.88/gallon).

I went for groceries in the city (50 thousand people, half an hour away) yesterday and it was $1.30 ($4.92) in the morning, then it jumped to $1.41 ($5.34) by the afternoon! How can it jump eleven cents in just a few hours? FML.

    Holy balls. I *think* it's at almost $4 here. I would cry for hours if gas was over $5.

    I've heard rumors that gas prices are supposed to drop soon.  I hope it's true because if the price keeps going up I'll have to start hitchhiking to work!!

    Fingers crossed they drop soon! I am in Texas and it's almost $4 here! That's absolutely ridiculous. All I keep thinking though is Queen's "Bicycle"... Might need to get me one of those. Except that it's so un-bike friendly here.

    It cost me $75 to fill up this morning. That will last 1-1.5 weeks tops. F that sucks.

    Ours dropped, then went back up. Of course I didn't fill up yesterday when they were down, and when I went this morning they had gone up! Crap

    Eek!!! Where we went on vacay t was $4 a gallon and I cried everytime we had to fill up DH's stupid flippin' truck.

    I just switched from my 29 mpg subaru to my explorer with a giant tank. Imagine my surprise the first time I filled up! I had never gone over $40 to fill my Sub up! I nearly cried

    Gas is about 4.25 here. It cost DH $85 every 3 days to fill up. It will cost me $80 to fill up but that will last me about two weeks.  

    THIS ISN'T THE BUMP, THIS IS SPARTA!!!

    Since we moved, I am blowing through a tank in about 4 days. It takes me a little over $60 to fill up. :(

    I have to fill up every 5 days.  I told my DH that I am getting closer and closer to being okay with selling my car (Mustang GT) and getting one that is a little more family friendly and fuel efficient.
