PSA: Amazon subscribe & save and Prime shipping

Maybe this has been shared already? I went to place an order on Amazon and was doing subscribe & save to get the lower price. I noticed during checkout a link that said "Why didn't I qualify for prime shipping?"... and clicked it.

Apparently they've changed the rules so now you have to choose between Amazon mom free 2 day prime shipping OR the 15% subscribe and save discount. Poo. Stick out tongue I guess they caught on to what a fantastic deal that was for people who did both!

I think it's to discourage people who would sign up once and then stop, because really, once you have it coming every month, the speed of shipping doesn't really matter.

very interesting, b/c as of just a few days ago I was still getting emails about 30% off w/ amazon Mom and S&S, do you still get that??

I will admit I was/am one of the people who'd cancel a subscription after getting the package

That's a bummer. Shipping is still free - it's just not 2-day. That was seriously spoiling me.

I set up a new order of diapers yesterday for the new little one, and got the same message. But, my diapers did still ship today and are expected to be delivered tomorrow. So, while you aren't guaranteed 2 day shipping, I think there's a good chance that for somethings it will still come in 2 days.

I just ordered diapers this morning and noticed that. I was bummed but it's still a really good deal. I just have to plan ahead a bit more to make sure I don't wait until the last minute.
