I am moving to Oregon in the next month from WA and wanted to know if my pregnancy will be covered by any state insurance. I got a new job, so I wont be covered with the insurance from my job till the probation period is over. I know most states offer help for low income families, but we won't be low income. I looked at some of the Oregon sites, but didn't find any concrete information to know if I would be covered or not.
Definitely look into Oregon Health Plan. I was referred by Planned Parenthood - You can get checked out there, have your pregnancy confirmed and then apply for OHP if you qualify. We aren't THAT broke and we qualified.
