NCDR... but sorta

Did someone rename this board?!?!  Somebody say something happy... please?  I have been depressed enough watching my boyfriend fill out applications daily for the past 5 days - which really put a damper on my sucky first Mother's Day.  Sooooo... I am forcing myself.

I am excited that we could at least afford for me to get some samples of CJ's BUTTer!  I wanna try it.

Now you say something happy.  Now.

  • Happy... hummm... let's see...

When you ask DS2 "What does a bee say?" he goes "Zzzzzz."  He learned it just by watching is brother.  It is quite cute, and extra-exciting for us because DS1 has a number of developmental delays.  So DS2 simply being able to observe and learn is huge.

And DS1 also learned how to growl, and he likes to demonstrate this skill while in the shopping cart at Target.  People are doing double-takes left and right.

  • DH finally made enough money to cover daycare, and he did it in one week!  I'm super proud of him.  His job (salesman) has been struggling for the past couple of months.
  • I'm almost done with classes, which means I can focus my energy on growing this baby and not be so stressed!

And the nursery is only 1 project away from being complete! I'm pretty proud of how it turned out.

Haha!  I love LO stories.  I can't wait for fun public moments.

Awesome!  My boyfriend used to work an incentive job grinding auto parts and I remember how good he felt when he had a good week making three times his base so we could have a little extra cash.

I remember college.  And I would never want to be doing that and growing a baby.  I was lucky enough to be able to stay home and I slept a lot.  Power to ya, mama!

  • My son is just learning how to stick out his tongue.  He has been doing it constantly for the last few days and it is ridiculously cute.

  • My parents have been in town visiting since Sunday night.  They live 2000 miles away, so don't really get to see DS anything like as frequently as they want.  He has changed so much since they last saw him, and they're having a blast hanging out with him.  Also, they pretty much insisted on babysitting for us last night, and gave us $100 to go out to dinner (for the record, we're both 100% fine with them babysitting).  We got sushi, which I've been wanting to do, oh... since I got pregnant.

When we got home, we found out that DS had been great for them with one exception.  Apparently my dad had been holding him, and he'd poopsploded (no idea what diaper he'd been wearing or who put it on him).  He got poop ALL over my dad's pants and his arm.  They wound up running a load of laundry before we got back so my dad would have clean pants (they're staying at a hotel, and I can guarantee that DH's pants would not fit my dad).  Bonus: my ILs had come over so the four of them could hang out with the grandson and talk about trips they've taken.  I thought this was hilarious.

  • DH and I are two weeks away from signing final paperwork to purchase our new house.

DD is learning to laugh.  Those little giggles get me every time.
