I haven't taken a tour since my first pregnancy in 2008, but I remember at the time that they mentioned they had a few suites (I'm thinking the Predators Suite and the Titans Suite, or something like that) that are larger than the regular rooms. I also remember hearing that a former coworker reserved such a suite.
DH and I were thinking of looking in to this (as things got tight with all of our oot family when DS was born!), but I've googled and searched and can't find anything online mentioning this possibility.
Anyone know anything about this?
Re: Did anyone get a postpartum "suite" at Baptist in Nashville?
Toured last night and saw the one of the Titans Suites...awesome. They are huge, have an extra couch, plus mini fridge and meals are included for mom and dad (with a regular room only mom's meals are included)...and they upgrade meals to what the docs get. The price goes up $100 per night which you have to pay at discharge.
You register for a suite, then when you go to deliver tell them you registered for a suite. If one is available then you get it. If two women show up on the same day to deliver and both have registered for a suite, they go by whoever registered for one first. The number for childbirth education is 615-284-2229...the number for OB Admitting is 615-284-2284 (sorry, not sure which you call to register). Good luck!
