I thought I was having a good day. vent

I am so angry right now. I had a great day until DH called. He told me he was going to lose his job. (AGAIN). A little background: DH teaches 4th grade at a charter school, he started there Fall of 09 and got let go 6 weeks later. The brought him back April 10 and he has worked there ever since. Today a girl knocked over a bookshelf onto herself in his classroom. The school administration blamed him and said he did not follow proper procedures blah blah blah. He just called a few minutes ago to say he is leaving. (The school gets out at 3:15 and it is now 5pm). He got yelled at in front of other staff members and was basically told that he would not be asked back next year. I hate this for him and for us. He can't catch a break. This is like the 4th time he has lost a job. I hate MI and I hate our economy.

I guess we will be TTA forever because neither one of us can hold a real job. Yesterday was so good and today is awful.

Thanks so much ladies for being so supportive. I feel like all I have to say is negative lately.

big HUGS. bad days seem to be the trend today.

i hope for you that this is just temporary. i know the feeling, my DH got laid of from 5 different jobs before we moved out here to NV. thinking of you, and sending big HUGS your way!

Ugh I'm sorry! I'm a teacher too and am getting laid off for the third time from the same school.... I am beyond annoyed that this summer I will be looking for a job again! Charter schools are notorious around here for running things "their own way"... hopefully he can find a job in a better environment soon!
