"Alicia Silverstone had her first baby and her first Mother's Day all in one weekend.

The Clueless one gave birth to a boy on Thursday at a Los Angeles-area birthing center, per People. The 7-pound, 15-ounce tyke is the first child for Silverstone, 34, and rocker hubby Christopher Jarecki.

Now, about that name...

It's Bear Blu!"

    I just don't understand...your child has to LIVE with this name for their entire life (theoretically).  I can't imagine the thought (or lack of thought???) that goes into what some people name their children - celebreties or otherwise. 

    But, to each their own.

    She is a total hippie though. We ran into her at a small cafe near my grandparent's house. Blu is not an abnormal name in the hippie community. My SIL wanted to name her son Blu.

    Bear on the other hand...all I think about is Bear Grylls from Man Vs. Wild, and that isn't even his real name. That kid is going to grow up eating bugs and eyeballs with that name.

    What has she done lately?

    And by lately I mean in the past 12 years.
