Thoughts and Prayers request for my little guy (and me too)

Eli is going in the morning for surgery to fix his hypospadias (his urethra is too short and in the wrong place). I know it will be harder on DH and me than it will be on him. I can't help but worry since I am his mom, of course. I do feel pretty positive about it and I know everything will be ok, but the thought of him going under anesthesia and not being able to eat or drink for a while makes me sad.

I also want to give a shout out to Write2Nicole and Hermione for sharing their stories :-D

My son had the same surgery, and it went very well. The whole thing didn't last very long at all--maybe a couple of hours at the very most. Your DS will do great. You're in my thoughts.
