We are looking into baby monitors and I am overwhelmed. The babies will be in seperate cribs across from each other and I am worried about hearing them both. What kind do you have? Does it have two seperate units (one for each baby) or just one and it works for both? Do you like it?

We have the Summer Infant Slim & Secure video monitor. It came with one camera, so we had to purchase a second one individually. I love it! The monitor scans back and forth between the two cameras every 5 seconds or so.
ETA: It's equipped for sound too.
sound only and you'll do fine with one between them.
we use angelcare monitors (motion sensor pads) and have 2 in the room- one for each crib- but only use one parent unit to hear, since we can hear both babies + both monitors if they beep, using just one parent unit to listen with.
We also bought the Lorex one from Costco because it came with the extra camera and normally buying an extra camera (especially for Summer brand) is super expensive. We are very happy with our purchase!!

We have the summer infant best video monitor (got it at target online) the camera pans and zooms and works great for being able to see both cribs, ours are also across from eachother and the sound works great as well.
You can add additional camera's, if the pan/zoom doesn't work for the location your cribs are in. I've also heard great things about the angelcare monitors mentioned above.
