My question is what to do and how to celebrate. We don't have much friends and family and I really wanted to take her to disney since we live in FL. Can LO 2 being just a couple of wks old really head to disney???
I would wait personally. I think taking a 1 year old and a newborn to disney would be far more work than it would be fun. Plus, they wouldnt really understand it and truly be able to enjoy it. I'd wait a few years personally. A few weeks after giving birth you're probably not going to be in the mood to walk around in the heat. If you really want to go, I'd take DD as an early birthday present before LO #2 arrives.
I will admit that Disney is not a dream vacation or destination for me to begin with. When we take our kids it will be for THEM. A one year old and a <1 month old are going to get zero enjoyment out of Disney. We will be waiting until our kiddos are ~ 4 and 5 and can get excited about it.
I personally would avoid crowded amusement parks and things like that. Newborns are so unpredictable and one year olds aren't much better. To me it would be more stressful than fun. You likely wouldn't get your money's worth. JMO though. Some people get married at Disney so I know my lukewarm feelings on the mouse house are not necessarily universal .

No way would I take a 2 week old (or even 2 month old) to Disney. I live in Orlando and I know how Disney can be. Crowded, hot, gross people, inconsiderate as hell foreigners, just yuck YUCK. It's too risky. One cough from someone standing near you in line for ice cream is all you need for your baby to get sick.
