Ethan and I are sick :(

I took Ethan to the Doctor today, because he was running a low grade fever (101.00 rectally) and he has a rash on his belly. So we go to the doctor and it turns out he has a virus, causing the fever and one rash, but he has 2 different rashes! the other one  is eczema, so he has me to blame for that!

Anyway, while we are talking, the doctor (who is our family doctor) says to me, How long have you been sick? and I was surprised. and said, I am not sick, I feel fine.  He says, I bet you are running a fever and takes my temp and sure enough I am running a 102.4 fever! I had no idea. I still don't feel sick, I have just felt a little tired the last 2 days... but I guess I have this virus, too.

Of course, now that he TELLS me I am sick I am feeling much worse! :)

Ethan is fine, however. He laughed through the appointment and was pleasant as we went to the grocery store and stopped at a clothing store ( I need something to wear for his christening) He smiled all the way home, played in his high chair as I made dinner, and curled up on my lap when it was time to go to sleep!

    Oh no! I'm sorry. It's bad enough when E is sick but when Mommy is sick too that's twice as bad. I hope you have a quick and easy recovery. (hugs)

    Aww, it's hard when you are both sick, although I've never experienced it before (knock on wood), but I can only imagine.  I hope you both get to feeling better.
