At what point in your pg is movement supposed to be more regular and less sporadic?
I've been feeling movement for about 2 weeks now. Of course, I've barely felt anything today and it freaks me out, even though the rational side of me is saying I shouldn't be expecting anything regular yet.

Re: Regular movement?
No not really at your stage. About 25 week it gets somewhat regular. This baby is definatly not as active as my DD1. She is picky about her movement times and she is a quiet roller.
Just go lay down in bed and concentrate. It is fine I am sure!

In the past month, I've dealt with TWO stealth ninja weekends. Then LO makes up for it by rolling around like a little gymnast for a few days.
When she's less active, I'm still depending on my doppler for reassurance. And her hb has always sounded fine. From everything I've heard/read, it's still pretty normal for them to have lazy days...but I'd be more concerned if I didn't have the doppler to double-check.
I hope your LO spunks up for you soon!
This exactly. LO always likes to give mommy a heart attack.
My doc said around 28 weeks. My little guy is not totally regular now, but I do notice him usually at least first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I talked with her yesterday about movement and kick counts and she said the key is to figure out what's the pattern for your child and each child will differ. Then, you watch for changes in the pattern.
ETA: Keep in mind that you're not feeling every movement. At my 24 week appointment, I was laying on the table while the doctor was working her doppler and she told me he kept rolling away from the doppler. Even though I was sitting quietly and paying attention, I couldn't actually feel him roll. So, that helped me to have some reassurance that he moves a lot more than I feel and notice.
