I keep reading about belly bandits for helping you not feel "loose" after birth. One of my friends suggested i just use my bellybands (those things that hold your pants up early/mid pregnancy). Anyone tried this? it would be nice to not have to buy another thing i won't use real long.
Re: girdle alternative?
i don't know if the bellybands would give you that much support, i'm not too familiar with them, but i thought they were mostly just knit
the belly bandit is expensive, and from the reviews i've seen on amazon, they're kinda split, people either like them or think they were overpriced and worthless
i'm getting one, because of the rcs, but this is the one i'm getting

I don't think that they bellyband would give any type of support. It would be like wearing a pair of maternity pants with the elasticy wasteband.
I posted this weekend about the Belly Bandit and didn't get much of a response. I think I'm going to go ahead and order it.
