So last year (my first official Mother's Day), DH got a failing grade. He had to catch a plane so he was all preoccupied with that and realized later at the airport that it was MD and he didn't do anything for me.
Made up for it this year. Made waffles and is currently doing all the cleanup (since he made a huge mess!) And he got me a really nice gel mat for the kitchen floor for my always-aching back. Oh, and changed the baby this morning without me even prompting him.
I already told him I'm not cooking today, so it looks like we're grilling chicken. He can handle that.
