Hi ladies!
I'm trying to catch up. Congrats to Worms, OCW, and KT (hoping a 3rd beta will ease the torture of waiting). Hugs to Cookie.
I'm sure ive missed some, so hugs and congrats to all who need them.
My trip had a VERY rocky start. I arrived at my hotel and when i unpacked, i discovered two purses had be STOLEN out of my checked luggage. Of course (insert eye roll) they were a gucci and a louie vuitton (both bought in my pre-IF days).
I was so upset, and i felt so violated. I got to PAY for the privilege of checking this luggage....and someone had the NERVE to rob me??!!!
So i missed my yoga class the 1st day, bc i was filing my theft claim w us Air.
The rest of the trip was really nice ( i took the theft in stride). I had a blast w my girls, hiked, lounged, massaged, dined and had a makeover. So it was a really nice time.
Then i got home, and DH told me his last SA was terrible (3 sperm) and he will have to have the mTESE. He actually found out thurs (day of my robbery) but he waited to tell me...bc he thought it would ruin my trip.
So back to reality.... where i got to document my theft and spent today hunting down credit cards receipts for my purses, and pics of them. Good times grrrrrrrrr

5 REs + 3 surgical hysteroscopies for septum/lap + 3 failed IUIs
IVF w/ICSI/AH & acu = BFP!, unexplained spontaneous m/c @ 8w2d (our little girl),
FET w/acu = BFP!, B/G twins!, lost MP @19w, dx w/funneling cervix @20w,
twins nearly lost to IC @21w, saved by rescue cerclage, 17P & 16w of bedrest

Sorry about your purses being stolen... that is awful. I hope they are able to find/reimburse you for your purses. I'm glad to hear that it sounds like the rest of your gals trip was fun!
Also sorry to hear about your DH's SA. It's sad that you have to do the mTESE, but I hope it brings you a super sticky BFP.
IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer
Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

and sorry about SA but DH's balls are in excellent hands and Dr. S will find some great swimmers. get S plenty of lose 100% cotton boxers and ice will be his best friend.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

Wow, what a shame that your trip got off to such a bad start. Sadly, I'm sure that happens a lot now that you're not allowed to lock your luggage.
I'm really sorry about the SA. Is he having the mTESE the same day as your ER or earlier and freezing?

Oh no! Thursday was NOT a good day for you or DH...I'm so sorry about your bags AND about his SA...I think I would want him to wait and tell me when I got back too, especially after your robbery

Whoa. That's quite a trip. I'm really sorry about Yh's SA. I'm sure that hasn't been an easy thing to deal with. I'm also sorry that your trip started out by being robbed of two really nice purses! But I'm glad you were able to relax a little and I hope you enjoyed your time with friends.
