Mine are also 14 months apart... The best investment for me was a good carrier (I liked the moby style best) because it's hard to chase 1 and carry the other. Mine don't share a room so we got a second changing pad and diaper pail...

Honestly, we didn't need much. We did get a second crib.
Also ditto bpaullo. A good carrier was a lifesaver for me. For a newborn, I liked the Moby. It can be a PITA at 1st but I felt it was by far the most secure carrier as far as the baby really being *in there* and it was also easiest on my back with long term wear. It can be hot, but around the house I just wore a bra under it and kind of made the Moby my shirt.
Mine are also 14 months apart. The moby gets used near daily due to chasing the other two around. I think everyone else covered the other key items. Especially the wine .
