Amazon Registry question and also an FYI about Target.

I don't know if you ladies know and chances are you do.  I just got my 10% off completion coupon from Target.  I called to double check this will work and they said yes, if you have a Target Debit or Credit Card you get 5% on each purchase, well they said you can put that on top of the 10% when you go in to purchase your registry stuff.

The good thing is also if you don't want a credit card you can do the debit card, it's a no approval situation and it's connected to your bank account and it just goes on your regular bank account as if you used your own debit card it just goes through as an e-check.

 

Then my question about Amazon.com Registry, the completion is 10% correct?  Do they allow you to purchase things like a camera?  And lastly is there any way that you ladies know of that will give you more of a percentage off or more money off that can be used at the time of using the completion coupon?

    No, the 10% from Amazon is only good on items in the Baby category.

    Thank you so much for the info.  I still will probably get a bunch from there as a lot of the stuff on Amazon is cheaper then Target even is!

    I know it, if I didn't have so many giftcards to BRU I would much rather shop at Amazon b/c the stuff is cheaper and shipping is way less of a hassle.  Good luck with all your shopping!

    This!  I was bummed when I found that out because I planned on putting a food processor on the registry after showers to get 10% off, especially considering I'm buying for the baby food I'll be making!

    Yeah we were suprised as well.  I dont' have the best of credit and I don't get along with credit cards so I tend to stay away from them.  When I went to Target the other day the cashier told me about it, and it was pretty simple to fill out all of the stuff.  You normally get it immediately unless it's like me and my address is different on my checks then what is on my drivers license.  They said at that point they just have to verify and your card comes in the mail in like 5 days.  Good option to getting their credit card, you can even go on target.com and it gives you the info.

    I have one and I love it :-) I got mine when I was working over the Christmas season so I could use my employee discount, then they started doing the extra 5% - Awesome!

    Aw, that makes sense now that I think about it, but I was totally planning on getting a case for my phone with the completion discount - I put it on there a week ago so I wouldn't forget about it, I really hope people haven't looked at my registry lately. Oh well, I'll still get free shipping on it.
