Boo! My blood pressure has been high the past couple of appointments so my doctor ordered a blood panel and ultrasound last week. The blood work came back good but my fluid level was lower than they would like. There isn't any protein in my urine to suggest pre-e but I've had some significant swelling in my feet. So today I was ordered for twice-weekly NST's and weekly ultrasounds to monitor little man. My doctor didn't seem too worried though and just let me know that if my BP continues to rise or if any of my symptoms get worse, we'll deliver. Anyone else in my boat???

Re: just got diagnosed with gestational hypertension :(
Oh wow! I was in L&D last week for similar issues (swelling, head aches, BP raising). My dr sent me home with a list of things to watch out for saying he's worried about the pregnancy induced hyptertension (as he called it) and pre-e. So far I'm just doing weekly appts.
GL to you!

I did, I think I was the same gestation as you when I found out too. That was quite the doctors appt that day! I have to go in twice a week and get NST's every time and once a week, get an Ultrasound to check fluid levels. I haven't had any protein in my urine either, but my BP has been in the 140-150's/85-90's range with a few in the 100's on the bottom. I keep hoping she'll deliver earlier than 29 weeks since DH leaves for deployment before I am due. I was put on bed rest too, but I kind of don't always abide by it. I did get a BP machine so I can check it at home too, that way if I'm feeling weird or off, I can see if it's my BP or not. Good luck with everything and I hope all goes well for you!
