A big thank you!...and update.

You may remember that I posted a few weeks ago that I was worried because I had had two appointments where I had not heard the baby's heartbeat, plus I wasn't sure if I had felt movement. I was worried...

I just wanted to say to say thank you SO much to all of you that told me to hang in there and that everything was most likely fine. It just helped hearing it from others. I had an appointment about 2 weeks ago and we did in fact hear the heartbeat. It was such a releif. I have begun to feel movement consistantly this week.

Also, this morning we found out we are having a boy!!! I was sure it was a girl, and was hoping for a girl (mostly because it would be easier since I have a 3 yr old girl), but got teary eyed and super excited as soon as we "saw" it was a boy...he is not shy!!! And he hardly stopped moving for the tech to get decent pictures.

I know I am much more of a lurker here, but I tremendously enjoy being a part of September Mommies. I will be gone for 3 weeks begining next week, and won't have much access to the internet, so I know I will be having withdrawls.

I remember your post! I had been through something similar, although I only had to wait for a weekend to get confirmation that the baby was okay. You are a trooper! Glad to hear that everything is okay, and congrats on your little man!

Edit to add: I just noticed your name choice. Love it!
